Branzino is a silver-skinned fish native to the eastern Atlantic Ocean. With firm, white, and delicate-flavored flesh, it is prized in Italian, Spanish, and Greek cuisines, prepared grilled, roasted, poached, steamed, or braised whole.
Our beautiful Branzino are raised responsibly and sustainably by our experienced staff in recirculating aquaculture tanks at our ultra modern 63,000 square foot facility in Waterbury, Connecticut. We’re truly local—right in the middle of the New York, New England, and metro Atlantic markets we serve, ensuring the highest levels of freshness. Compare that to product that has been transported thousands of miles, processed by numerous parties, and pushed through a multi-layered distribution system over many days. No contest.
From the time our fingerlings arrive until the time our mature Branzino are ready for harvest, our fish are handled and treated like royalty. Grown in optimal conditions, they are never exposed to external pathogens or pollutants, so they are free from antibiotics, chemicals, or growth hormones. Ideal Fish are 100% traceable with complete transparency throughout the whole process.
